Aisha Azmi has worked across the Kingdom’s hospitality sector
Shangri-La Jeddah has named Aisha Azmi as the property’s executive assistant to the general manager, making her one of the hotel’s first employees as the five-star hotel gears up for an October opening.
“I have been watching the development of Shangri-La Jeddah for the last three years, and dreamed that one day I would have an opportunity to work there. Now I am the first employee at the hotel, and I can’t wait to welcome the rest of our team and open Jeddah’s number one luxury hotel,” she said.
She has worked across KSA’s flourishing hotel sector for seven years, starting out as an order taker before moving up to the guest relations department at Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel.
She then moved to Hyatt Regency in Makkah as the team leader of guest relations and communications before rising to lobby ambassador. After a stint as an executive assistant at Saudia Cargo, she stepped into Shangri-La as part of the Jeddah hotel’s pre-opening team.
