Located at the Mall of Dhahran, the launch of the store marks the fifth LEGO® Certified Store opening in Saudi Arabia
Dhahran, Saudi Arabia: The LEGO Group opened its first LEGO® Certified Store at the Mall of Dhahran this month. Situated conveniently on its ground floor, the new store offers families residing in and around the region an opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the LEGO® play experience and enjoy the latest toy launches and exclusive sets from the brand.
Featuring an innovative store design that spans 149sqm in size, the expansive retail space offers dedicated interactive areas for a hands-on experience to encourage children to tap into their imaginations as they experiment with LEGO bricks of different colors, sizes, and shapes.
Upon arrival, visitors are greeted with a one-of-a-kind large-scale 3D mosaic of the map of Saudi Arabia, built as a homage to the Kingdom’s legacy and tradition. Composed of 175,991 LEGO bricks, this stunning life-sized structure is a result of 584 working hours put together by a dedicated team of five builders.
Encouraging children to explore their creative potential, the store also features interactive stations where children and their families can play and engage with hands-on, fluid play experiences. These include a Digital box, an augmented reality screen that shows 3D models of LEGO sets when rotated as well as a Minifigure scanner, an interactive digital screen where visitors can customize their LEGO Minifigure and use it to build at the Build a Mini station.
