Dubai- : Mauritius has been honoured with the titles of the Indian Ocean’s Leading Adventure Destination, and the Indian Ocean’s Leading Wedding Destination, at the World Travel Awards 2021.

Demand for vacations in Mauritius is increasing rapidly, as consumers in its key markets respond to changes in travel restrictions, which have made holidays easier to arrange. Air Mauritius has ramped up flight capacity from France, South Africa, Réunion and the UK over the coming months, and other airlines are doing the same.
Since 1st October, vaccinated travellers have been free from quarantine on arriving in Mauritius providing testing requirements are fulfilled. Recognition at such a prestigious awards ceremony is expected to increase demand still further.
