Jeddah-:The Land Rover Defender renewed its garnering of international and regional awards after it recently won the ninth contest of the Saudi automotive sector award, following its return to the international markets where it was met with great demand in the Saudi market, although many customers consider it a car of completely different style due to its matchless features and specifications that it enjoys.
This choice and victory is a new addition to the records of the car that has won many awards since its exposure to the world in the middle of last year. The final result was announced at the closing ceremony held by “PR Arabia” Agency that is specialized in the automotive sector in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The award was handed to Mr. Andre Bonthuys, Managing Director of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, the Jaguar Land Rover dealers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The public in Saudi Arabia chose the all-new Defender as the best luxury SUV, through electronic voting in the first stage, and then through a specialized arbitration committee that includes a group of journalists and influencers in the automotive sector in the Kingdom and the Middle East.
The Land Rover Defender was chosen as the best luxury SUV in Saudi Arabia for the year 2021 as one of the winners of the “Saudi Car of the Year” awards, based on its distinctive exterior design and efficient performance on the road. This is the third award to be won by Land Rover cars, which are considered the most prestigious car awards in the Middle East region. The Range Rover Velar (2018) and Range Rover (2016) have previously received this award.
