“I’m thrilled to partner with The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort,” said Chef Prateek Sadhu. “I look forward to bringing my creativity to their valued guests, providing them with a one-of-a-kind experience and signature dishes that will both delight and impress even the most discerning palate.”

Sadhu’s influence will amplify the five-star property’s already distinguished culinary scene. On December 1st and 2nd, guests will be able to enjoy his mouth watering Uni-Corn & Caviar Pani Puri, consisting of Semolina Puri, Corn Salsa and Kale Green Apple Gel, for dinner as well as one cooking demonstration while surrounded by lush landscape and panoramic views of the Indian Ocean.

Born in Baramulla, Kashmir, in 1986, Prateek grew up around family farms, leading him into the kitchen at a young age. His passion for food naturally led him into the culinary scene, where he began working in kitchens at Taj Hotels before graduating with double gold medals from The Culinary Institute of America. He then went on to stints at several esteemed restaurants, including Alinea, The French Laundry, Bourbon Steak, La Bernadin and Noma, before making his way back to India, where he travelled in search of the best regional produce before opening Masque in 2016.

The exclusive guest chef series will follow with Chef Prateek Sadhu and additional culinary talent to be announced through early 2022.
