With Asian authenticity at its core, Sedap invites diners to celebrate the Year of the Tiger
at its idyllic creekside location for the month of February
Welcoming the Year of the Tiger, waterfront restaurant Sedap Asian Street Kitchen in Al Seef will be serving a special month-long, limed-edition dinner to celebrate Chinese New Year throughout the month of February, starting on February 1.
From the kitchen, guests can anticipate traditional Lunar New Year fare with yusheng being the star of the show – a traditional raw fish salad that presents an element of interactive fun as it invites diners to participate in a toss, where everyone on the table tosses the salad together to symbolize abundance, prosperity and vigor.
In celebration of Chinese New Year, there will also be a three-course menu suitable for three to four people available, priced at AED 320 and accompanied by a pitcher of non-alcoholic beverage of choice. To begin, Fuyong omelette will be served, followed by mains of prawn mee, sambal kangkong, Hainanese roasted chicken rice, and Singaporean chilli flower crab. For dessert, classic black sesame dumplings are sure to bring the meal to a close on a sweet note.
Available to diners on February 1, the Chinese New Year menu will also be served throughout February with pre-order.
Presenting the sights, smells and flavours of those found on the bustling streets of South East Asian, Sedap offers a chilled out, fun and vibrant atmosphere for those diners looking to enjoy a relaxed and authentic experience this Chinese New Year.
