RIYADH — Almarai Company has been honored as the best performer in the Innovating Social Development Solutions criteria by 2019 King Khalid Award for Sustainability. Companies, that adopt sustainable development practices and social responsibility in Saudi Arabia, are recognized by the award for the contribution in achieving the Kingdom’s vision regarding the developments on social, economic, and environmental levels.
“While we are proud to be marked as the best performer in the Innovating Social Development Solutions criteria, the company’s vision is to constantly support the Almarai CSR program appreciating the significance of sustainable community developments for individuals and groups,” Abdullah Nasser Al-Otaibi, Sr. Corporate Communications and Public Relations Manager at Almarai said.
It is worth noting that Almarai annually supports more than 300 charitable associations working in community development around the Kingdom. Additionally, the company won the Kotler Community Awareness Award in 2016, and it was ranked by Forbes among the most innovative international companies in 2017.
