Epson partners with KMCC to deliver Ramadan food parcels to women at workers’ accommodation site in Dubai

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates —: As part of a Ramadan community outreach effort, employees of global technology leader Epson have been working closely with Dubai-based charity, Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre (KMCC), to donate, pack and deliver food parcels to women living in the workers’ accommodation site of Al Muteena in Dubai.

Jason McMillan, Sales Director, Epson Middle East, said: “We are always looking for ways to support our communities, especially during Ramadan. The hardworking women at Al Muteena make such a difference to the lives of community members throughout the year so it has been a pleasure to have the opportunity during the holy month to share the food parcels we prepared especially for them. The compassion and dedication that our partner KMCC shows to helping people, aligns with Epson’s UN SDG commitment to support the communities in which we live and work.”

Over two separate days, Epson volunteers packed and then helped to distribute more than 100 boxes of curated food and pantry staples to the female workers, enabling them to enjoy homemade meals during Ramadan.
