Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Building on its 100% channel-led approach, Lenovo has celebrated its annual channel awards in the United Arab Emirates. The ceremony was held to celebrate the success of Lenovo’s channel partners in supporting and delivering on key digital transformation projects in the GULF region across both its intelligent device (IDG) group and infrastructure solutions divisions (ISG).
28 award winners were named in acknowledgement of the achievements demonstrated by Lenovo’s network of distributors, partners, resellers as well as individual awards.
During the awards, Mohammed Hilili, General Manager, Lenovo IDG, GULF said “As an industry, we have faced shared challenges – seeing unprecedented demand for PCs and smart devices as remote working an e-learning took hold. On top of that there are various government mandated digital transformation projects taking place across the GULF region. To deliver on these demands Lenovo relies heavily on distributors, resellers, and system integrators. They all play a crucial part in our go to market plan. We will continue to accelerate our channel-led strategy and extend our gratitude towards the community for its continued support”.
To better promote engagement and foster collaboration between channel partners and sales teams, Lenovo is committed to equipping its channel with the latest programs and tools to help them in their go-to market strategy. Lenovo recently launched their updated channel framework in the UAE, Lenovo 360.
Lenovo 360 is a new, first-of-its-kind global channel partner framework designed to provide easier access to the entire Lenovo portfolio, including devices, infrastructure, services, and solutions. Lenovo 360, created in collaboration with Lenovo channel partners, brings together the essential elements of people, programs, and tools. The framework describes more unified global channel team structures and introduces eight solutions for increased workforce productivity and collaboration, infrastructure flexibility, sustainability enhancements, and industry-specific solutions to common business challenges. Rebate accelerator programs such as the “Better Together” and “TruScale Accelerator” initiatives provide partners with the opportunity to increase earnings by up to 30% or more on sales across Lenovo’s product and solution portfolio, as well as sales via as-a-Service.
