- Explore the harmonious state of universal energies through Attila’s artwork exhibited at Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre.
Dubai-: Beginning on October 21, the American artist Attila Konnyu’s work will be on display in the t-Lounge by Dilmah at Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre.
During the exhibition, Konnyu, who is being hosted as part of the as part of Artist Playground by Pullman, a platform for artists to showcase their talents and creativity, will take the audience on a journey to explore the harmonious state of universal energies through his ten unique artworks named ‘Equilibrium’.
Konnyu, who also works as a theatrical and movie director, has always been fascinated by travel, and his global experiences and meditations have guided him towards Expressionism which is reflected in his work.
Funun Arts, the hotel’s art curator will also exhibit the artworks of Shumaila Ahmed alongside Atilla at the Artist Playground by Pullman and. Ahmed, a self-taught, mixed media artist based in Dubai, transforms happy memories, impressions and stories of everyday life in Dubai into abstract shapes, marks, and vibrant colours in her paintings, resulting in an evocative experience of joy and hope.
Speaking on his exhibit and collaboration, the talented artist Attila Konnyu stated: “I am delighted to exhibit my latest works – Equilibrium – a state of harmony at Artist Playground at the beautiful Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre. While preparing for the exhibition, I was reminded of my travel memories to the UAE at the turn of the millennium. I remember the kindness I was greeted and how impressed I was by the elegance everywhere.
“Personally, I am amazed by the tremendous dynamism, the progressive vision and the enormous economic development, the power of which is perhaps unique in the world. In my opinion, Dubai’s forward-looking, innovative developments in the fields of science, culture, art, and economy in the entire country are exemplary for the whole world. Having experienced all these values and feelings, I created the material for the exhibition. I wanted to reflect the strong vitality experienced in Dubai with my colour compositions and dynamic, intense gestures. In my artworks, I present all that uplifting feeling, which can be experienced and captivated by everyone in Dubai. I create my paintings exclusively in a harmonious, intimate state, always focusing on inner peace. With my compositions, I strive to capture the equilibrium in my paintings that creates uniquely positive and forward-looking energy, the power of which can be experienced almost tangibly in Dubai and throughout the Emirates. I am excited to showcase my works to the wonderful audiences of Dubai and the Emirates at Artist Playground by Pullman at t-Lounge by Dilmah”.
