Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental launches collaboration with Chef Sahar

The Best Pastry Chef winner (MENA’s 50 Best) will present her world-class creations that incorporate Emirati flavours

The inaugural Best Pastry Chef winner (MENA’s 50 Best), Chef Sahar Parham Al Awadhi, has launched a new collaboration at the hotel’s Episodes dining space: The Mandarin Cake Shop, running from now until 2 July.

Episodes is the newest dining destination at the iconic Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, offering an extensive selection of the finest teas from around the world, fabulous pastry creations and artisanal savoury classics.

The pop-up is set to delight food connoisseurs and pastry enthusiasts. Throughout the collaboration Chef Sahar presents her world-class pastry creations, sweet treats which incorporate Emirati flavours and are made from locally sourced artisanal ingredients.

A limited-edition chocolate box – ‘The Jalabiya Tin’, featuring six different recipes in collaboration between Chef Sahar and Mirzam chocolates – are available to purchase exclusively for the duration of the pop-up.

Chef Sahar’s whimsical and nostalgic dessert creations also featured in a curated afternoon tea, in collaboration with Episodes. In addition, the offering is available daily from 2-6pm, featuring scones and a selection of jams paired with champagne.

Chef Sahar’s pop-up is one of the spectacular activities available throughout summer with ‘One Summer isn’t Enough’, creating unforgettable memories at every turn, from sun-kissed beaches to culinary experiences in Abu Dhabi.
