Art connoisseurs can visit to explore the artist’s work, enjoy a live painting session, and take the opportunity to ask questions about the artistic process

Dubai, UAE-:
The 11th edition of Project Art at Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens opens today with Ayla Abutalib, the Dubai-based abstract artist, displaying her work in the hotel until December 20, carrying out a live art demonstration, and answering questions from the visiting public.

Project Art is designed to provide Dubai’s best artists a free space to exhibit their work and during her three-week residency, Ayla – from Turkey – will showcase her works inspired by human interactions, observations of life and nature, and representative of various emotions.

“It gives me great pleasure to be a part of Project Art, which is a confluence of diverse people from in and around the neighbourhood,” said Ayla, who also displayed her artwork at World Art Dubai 2022 and numerous exhibitions in the UAE, Azerbaijan, and Germany.

“I discovered my passion for art when I was 17 and pursued my education in interior design in architecture, which enabled me to understand the trueness of design and paved the way to my true calling – into the world of art. I believe that every artwork is the reflection of the artist’s soul, born from their emotions.”

Ayla will also conduct a live painting session in the lobby on December 09 at 10am, allowing art enthusiasts and hotel guests to watch her thoughts splash across the canvas and become an abstract work of art. Ayla will be available to interact and share her experiences regarding her artistic journey.

“The purpose of the Project Art initiative is to offer a platform to artists, allowing them to showcase their artwork to a community that is diverse and has shown great affinity to the previous 10 editions,” said Marcus Sutton, General Manager, Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens. “With Ayla in residence, we hope to inspire artists and help spread awareness of her incredible talent.
