Torno Subito Is Set To Welcome Back Its Fourth Edition Of ‘Massimo’s Friends’ With Culinary Creative, Chef Tomer Tal

Dubai, UAE-: December just got a lot more exciting, because W Dubai – The Palm’s award-winning Torno Subito restaurant is welcoming back the fourth edition of its ‘Massimo’s Friends’ dining experience on December 7th and 8th. The one Michelin Star restaurant is set to offer an unforgettable evening, collaborating with one of Israel’s most innovative chefs, Chef Tomer Tal from George & John restaurant – who will step behind the stove, alongside Torno Subito’s Chef De Cuisine, Alessio Pirozzi, to create a spectacular tasting menu.

For AED 549 per person, foodies will experience the very best of culinary creativity, with a menu starting with the restaurant’s famous ‘Welcome from the Kitchen’: Zucca e Zafferano, a fragrant dish of pumpkin zafran foam followed by Shrimp Tartare, served with shrimp oil and tomato foam.

Main dishes include White Part of Watermelon, served with tuna tartar, smoked tomato, and a tangy verde salsa, Egg Yolk, Crab & Caviar with steamed butter crab, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, corn, and a sweet brioche and Ravioli Di Ossobuco Alla Milanese – a braised veal shank raviolo in a traditional Milanese sauce. Other dishes include Merluzzo Al Pomodoro ‘O Forse No’, confit cod fillet with celery root and a tangy tomato sauce and Lamb Variation, Quince and Spices featuring delicious cuts of lamb from sirloin to fillet tartare, all accompanied with pickled celery, a rice tart, glazed quince, and a lamb broth with dry spices. As the culinary journey continues, the experience gets even sweeter with Pere e Balsamico, seasonal pear prepared three ways finished with sweet balsamic vinegar and Monte Bianco, a rich chestnut mousse, served with vanilla ice cream, pumpkin gel, and a light meringue. An evening to remember, dedicated to cuisine, creativity, and friendship.

Aged 36, Head Chef Tomer Tal is responsible for creating one of the most refined establishments in Tel Aviv, George & John, which has been recognised globally for its superior quality and creativity. In 2022, the praised restaurant was awarded 8th place in the Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants and was also voted the 6th Best Restaurant in Israel- thanks to Chef Tomer Tal’s cutting-edge cooking techniques and innovative culinary flair to contemporary Israeli cuisine.

And now, Chef Tomer Tal is heading to the Torno Subito kitchen on December 7th and 8th, to join Chef Alessio Pirozzi in setting the scene for a dining experience like no other, for the fourth edition of Torno Subito’s Massimo’s Friends.
