Sixth generation Swiss High Jewellery Maison Boghossian is pleased to announce the launch of its book ‘Boghossian’ written by acclaimed Jewellery Historian and Author Vivienne Becker and published by iconic luxury publishers Assouline.
As one of the most prominent and celebrated Family Jewellers of modern times, ‘Boghossian’ narrates for the first time the rich family history, which begins at the centre of the Silk Road and sees the family travelling from East to West. The book unearths the journey that the family has taken over more than 100 years, honing their skills along the way to become modern masters of jewellery design and purveyors of the finest quality gemstones.
‘Boghossian’ is a testament to the Maison’s unique ability to weave its impressive history throughout its collections and designs while gaining a reputation for innovation and exceptional craftsmanship, as demonstrated in now-signature techniques such as ‘Inlay’, ‘Kissing’ and ‘Merveilles’.
With a foreword by Christie’s European Chairman François Curiel, the book also gives an understanding of Boghossian’s unrivalled success at auction; the Maison remains one of the only modern-day creative jewellers to consistently break records. It offers insights into the Boghossian creations that have become some of the most important and memorable pieces of jewellery ever produced. Highlights include the 2015 ‘Crimson Flame’ ring, the 2018 ‘Manuscript’ bracelet and 2020 Emerald and Diamond Double Rivière.
With exquisite imagery and illustrations throughout, ‘Boghossian’ is one of the most anticipated jewellery books to be published, representing the pinnacle of High Jewellery and the ultimate collectable book for aficionados.
Boghossian will be available for purchase from December 2022 through Assouline.
