Abu Dhabi-: Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi presents a festive season filled with special packages, gastronomic feasts, enchanting firework displays, and Yuletide treats. Catering to every taste, this magical season at Emirates Palace will commence with its much-anticipated tree lighting ceremony and will come to a close with the ultimate New Year’s Eve celebration gala to ring in 2023.

Tree Lighting Ceremony and Winter Village

The festive spirit at Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi will commence with a Tree Lighting Ceremony taking place on 9 December at 6pm in the Grand Dome, with a special appearance from Santa Claus amid swirling snowflakes for a spectacular lighting of the city’s largest Christmas tree. Guests can delight in festive treats and sing along with carollers, before taking a leisurely stroll around the Winter Village, immersing themselves in the Christmas experience.

Christmas Afternoon Tea, treats and gourmet hampers

To get into the joyous season, Christmas Afternoon Tea is available in The Cake Shop from 9 to 26 December priced at AED 245 per person, while Festive Gourmet Hampers, perfect for friend and family, are priced at AED 450 and for an at-home gourmet meal, Turkey Hampers are priced from AED 750.

Christmas brunches and gourmet dining

Gourmet experiences for the holiday season await guests at the award-winning restaurants of Emirates Palace. Guests can enjoy the legendary Emirates Palace Brunch at the Palace Terrace on Christmas Day with prices starting from AED 550, where they’ll embark on a culinary tour of the globe with delightful choices of international dishes and live cooking stations.

The palace’s main restaurant, Vendôme will showcase a special Christmas Day-themed breakfast featuring treats such as panettone, gingerbread and sweet brioche, while its Christmas Eve dinner buffet priced from AED 395 per person, is a luxurious catalogue of exceptional flavours, featuring family festivities and a visit from Santa.

The Lebanese Terrace is also offering a magical experience dining under the stars with an array of delectable Middle Eastern favourites, while vibrant Indian flavours await as celebrity Chef Hemant Oberoi conjures up a special set menu for Christmas Day at Martabaan priced at AED 350.

The piece-de-resistance for Christmas festivities is at Talea by Antonio Guida, where a special five-course Christmas Eve Dinner includes John Dory cooked with bergamot leaf priced at AED 650 inclusive of a Christmas-inspired welcome drink. Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi’s most romantic restaurant BBQ Al Qasr has curated a signature four-course sharing dinner menu including a BBQ wagyu ribeye roast, priced at AED 750.

New Year’s Eve Gala and New Year’s Day gourmet dining

The most anticipated gala dinner of the year will take place at Emirates Palace for guests to ring in the New Year. The event is dedicated to the four elements – earth, fire, wind and water; and is complemented with live entertainment and a variety of performances, as guests indulge in an epicurean feast. The evening is priced at AED 3,500 per person inclusive of the bubbles.

Guests can opt to make this New Year’s Eve a decadent Italian affair with a sensational five-course set menu, including white truffle and caviar, at Talea by Antonio Guida priced from AED 950, or enjoy grills by the sea featuring BBQ oysters, sea urchin roe and caviar tartlet, at BBQ Al Qasr priced from AED 1,500.
