Jeddah, Saudi Arabia -: Canon Middle East (CME) has announced the launch of its first podcast ‘In the Studio with Canon’ as an additional platform to connect with the community. Through the podcast, Canon will discuss various topics of interest and elaborate on the company’s various initiatives.
The ‘In the Studio with Canon’ podcast is available on multiple platforms such as Deezer, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Anghami, Spotify, Overcast and TuneIn Radio, and is divided into four themes that will air on a quarterly basis with each theme consisting of eight episodes hosting a variety of spokespeople and industry professionals.

A recent report by 4DC indicates that podcasts are currently the most trusted form of media and that as a result, 93 per cent of people who listen to a podcast finish the episode. CME is tapping into this trend and offering listeners an easily accessible platform to delve into issues in-depth across a multitude of subject matters.
A teaser of ‘In the Studio with Canon’ aired on December 8 to showcase details of the podcast. The first episode will be under the theme ‘Ambition’ and will address the issue of creativity and youth entrepreneurship referencing Canon’s AKTASHIF programme, which launched this year to inform and nurture the talent of the next generation of storytellers and content creators in the region as well as equip them with the tools and techniques to unleash their creative careers in the imaging industry.
The first episode will also feature Dr. Hakeem Jomah, actor, writer, and Saudi filmmaker where he discusses his journey from being a doctor to a creative content creator. Six more episodes will come under the ‘Ambition’ theme.
‘In the Studio with Canon’ is a significant addition to Canon’s community targeted initiatives for growth, development and education, and compliments the company’s corporate philosophy of Kyosei, which meaning living and working together for the common good.
