UAE -: The exclusive dealer of PEUGEOT in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Almajdouie, has opened its first showroom in Jeddah through a digital event for media, customers, and stakeholders. The event, which was live-streamed across Almajdouie and PEUGEOT’s social media platforms, provided an insight into the latest digital offerings by Almajdouie.

The live event was hosted by Sultan Hamdi, host of MBC’s Driven TV show and Saudi based influencer, Shereen Rafie. It also featured Yousef Ali Almajdouie, CEO Almajdouie Motors and Samir Cherfan, Executive Vice President, Middle-East and Africa Region for Groupe PSA, who welcomed viewers to the showroom. Experts from prominent automotive outlets were also in attendance to provide information about PEUGEOT’s 3008 SUV, 508 premium sedan fastback and other LCV models.

For the launch of the first PEUGEOT showroom in Jeddah, Almajdouie opted for a digital launch as it is a testament to our evolving approach as a company in the Kingdom. We are constantly looking at ways to enhance the customer experience and already have introduced several new retailer tools including WhatsApp and live chat, whereby customers can inquire about sales, services, and parts with a dedicated call centre agent. The digital event highlighted this, as well as the numerous digital options available for purchasing, servicing, and more based on customer’s needs”. said Yousef Almajdouie, CEO Almajdouie Motors.

The event also showcased Almajdouie’s approach to its aftersales services, which has been bolstered by strategic partnerships with local companies in the Kingdom. These include Atlobha, a local garage and spare parts provider where customers can purchase PEUGEOT spare parts online or via an app. Almajdouie has also partnered with automotive website, Alsayarah.com, and car evaluation platform Seez, to offer customers an alternative method to book, purchase or test-drive a car, all from the comfort of their homes.

Rakesh Nair, Managing Director at Groupe PSA in the GCC, commented: “With this, and other launches in the Kingdom over the next few months, we are looking to reaffirm our presence, while also highlighting what we are doing differently, what we have learned, and what our vision for the future looks like. We look forward to welcoming customers back in the next few weeks and once again showcasing our digital initiatives to guide them on the journey to purchasing, owning, and servicing their PEUGEOT.”

To ensure that customers are fully taken care of from start to finish, Almajdouie also recently opened two service centres offering a wide variety of services including electrical, mechanical, and Peugeot Quick Service. These include the Al Amal service centre, a 280 square metre facility equipped with three bays and the Sari service centre, a multiband, 1000 square metre facility equipped with 11 bays.

All PEUGEOT models are available for customers through the Online Booking Platform found on the Peugeot Webstore. Here customers can view the current stock available, select their preferred model, and book a car or a test drive when they see fit. A payment gateway is also under development to facilitate the journey for customers who wish to purchase their new PEUGEOT online, further strengthening the brand’s digital approach within the Kingdom.

The new showroom is located in Jeddah Amal Street, Al Naeem District  and will be open from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM from Saturday to Thursday .To learn more about Almajdouie’s digital offering and to watch the unveiling of the new showroom, customers can visit www.ksa.peugeot.com.
