Rosewood Abu Dhabi has promoted Samuele Baudoino from Executive Sous Chef to Executive Chef, with effect from December 1.
Baudoino joined Rosewood Abu Dhabi in 2018, with 22 years of gastronomical experience under his belt, and since then has made a lasting impact on the dining experiences of the UAE capital’s most discerning foodies.
Having trained extensively in Italy under the tutelage of renowned chef, Sergio Mel, Baudoino rapidly developed the extraordinary culinary skills that continue to delight Rosewood patrons today. Here, guests and visitors experience exquisite dishes served with international flavours and unique character, thanks to the years he spent working in luxury hotels in major cities such as Hong Kong, London, Singapore and Milan, before settling in the Middle East.
Speaking of his promotion, Baudoino said: “I love to travel and properly experience new cultures, and I’ve been fortunate to have worked all over the world during my career, which has definitely added to my flair in the kitchen, although I can never forget my Italian roots.”
“I’m extremely happy to have reached this new and important milestone here in Rosewood Abu Dhabi, and I look forward to taking the city’s dining experiences to new heights with my exceptional team,” he said.
With his ‘out of the box’ thinking and continuously strong innovation, in this new role Baudoino will continue to spearhead development of Abu Dhabi’s culinary scene with fantastic new food and beverage concepts and enticing menu options across the nine individual Rosewood Abu Dhabi restaurants and lounges.
