Dubai, UAE – : The original Dubai Frame measures 150 metres high and 93 metres wide and while Grand Plaza Movenpick’s recreation doesn’t reach the sky, the thought process and inspiration that went into its creation certainly celebrates the story of Dubai from its early establishment to its ambitious plans for future development.

Standing tall at the Grand Plaza Movenpick Media City’s lobby, the sleek yet complex gingerbread installation took over 1500 hours from concept to delivery, and an outstanding team with over 20 culinary and engineering experts under the Executive Chef Marco Amarone, Chef Baljit Kumar and pastry Chef Shahabuddin Ansari’s direction.

“Dubai embodies a philosophy of an endless possibilities and we wanted to recreate an iconic landmark that hasn’t only been awarded a Guinness World Record but that symbolizes prosperity and unity. Hence, during this festive season, we want to make sure all our guests experience moments full of joy, prosperity and hope” said Alfio Bernardini, property’s General Manager.

Made entirely out of traditional gingerbread and icing, the biggest Dubai Frame recreation sets the tone for the upcoming festivities amidst Christmas decorations including a 5-metre-high Christmas tree and a Winterland Festive kids’ zone during the Winterland Festive Brunches.
