“Food Festival” sees 19% increase in number of visitors to Red Sea Mall on Sundays

The Food Festival that the Red Sea Mall (RSM) launched on 8 November 2020 has been a huge success, attracting an average of 19% more visitors and shoppers to the mall on Sundays. Held every Sunday except on holidays, the festival also achieved its objective of supporting the mall tenants on every first day of the week, which usually sees limited footfall. The large number of visitors to casual dining outlets was particularly remarkable.

Visitors interacted with the Food Festival on social media channels, expressing their delight and enthusiasm for the opportunity to eat in many of their favorite restaurants while benefitting from generous offers and discounts on main dishes.

The ongoing RSM’s Food Festival offers visitors and shoppers exclusive and attractive deals all day on Sundays, with some restaurants giving a 50% discount and others offering a free dish with every main dish ordered.

“The Food Festival encouraged us to visit restaurants in the mall and enjoy a quiet meal in a nice atmosphere,” said Amr Shata, a visitor to the mall who benefited from the promotions. “Malls are not crowded on Sundays, as these are working days. We had a great experience, and my family and I will certainly come back and benefit from the available deals.”

Hanan Bahasan, another visitor, said: “My friends and I came to the mall to enjoy our favorite food. We were attracted by the discounts, and we had a good time in a quiet and beautiful surrounding.”

A group of people working at nearby offices and companies who decided to have their lunch at one of the restaurants in the mall noted how the festival made Sundays special days for them. “We now can have lunch in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere benefiting from special offers and avoiding crowds that the mall usually sees.”

RSM General Manager Engineer Al Rayan Gadouri commented: “We are pleased with the success of the Food Festival, which attracted various segments of the society and activated businesses after the extraordinary circumstances that the Covid-19 pandemic created. Many visitors and shoppers expressed satisfaction with the quality deals we are offering in partnership with our tenants. The Food Festival is yet another opportunity for people to get in touch with their friends and family members at RSM. We will continue our strategy of creating innovative experiences for our guests through appealing and generous promotions.”

RSM Head of Marketing Abdulraouf Al Hafez said: “A variety of good restaurants with menus that appeal to every taste are participating in the Food Festival. They offer delicious meals all day on Sundays, while fully observing safety protocols, including sanitization and social distancing. The mall also encourages guests to use electronic payment methods to avoid physical contact and ensure visitors’ safety and good health.”

Red Sea Mall and all the participating restaurants are pleased to welcome visitors to the Food Festival that will run till the end of next year 2021 offering them different & delicious cuisine choices from Sushi Art, Nando’s, Kababji, Wagamama, Ocean Basket, Abo El Sid, Casper & Gambini’s, Applebee’s, and Tortilla.
