US Deputy Ambassador visits King Abdulaziz Camel Festival

Edwin Sagurton, US acting deputy ambassador to Saudi Arabia and counselor for economic Affairs at the US Embassy to the Kingdom, expressed his joy to visit King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, in its fifth edition, which ends at last of December.
He said: “I used to hear a lot about camels in Arab culture, but what I saw today is a very big thing, and a huge work is being done to serve this ancient heritage, and I will definitely work to spread this culture in America.”
Edwin Sagerton added: “I am thinking seriously about participating in the festival next year, and I will be accompanied by some friends.


The American Deputy Ambassador extended his thanks and appreciation to the Camel Club headed by Sheikh Fahd bin Falah bin Hathleen for the great efforts he is making to serve this ancient legacy.
The US Deputy Ambassador visited the festival today, Sunday, accompanied by a delegation from the embassy, ​​and watched the camels display , and got acquainted with many details, the arbitration method, and the mechanism for crowning the first winner.
