Go Vegan with Mezze at Samakjé

If there was ever a cuisine that supports going-green, it’s Lebanese. Samakjé’s Levantine-inspired menu is ideal for both vegans and vegetarians as it features an array of plant-based mezze and salads that are already vegan by default. From Hummus Beiruti (topped with crispy fava beans), Roast Muhammara (made of crushed nuts, tomatoes, and spices), Hindbeh (that uses fresh pomegranate seeds), Eggplant Baba Ghanouj, Crudites, Vine, Leaves, Batta Harra, and traditional Fattoush, to Shanklish (made with homemade blue cheese), three-cheese Rakakat and a special Burrata Beiruti for the vegetarians who can’t say no to dairy. Samakjé is the go-to for those who enjoy a pick-and-mix style of dining, where the range of made-to-order mezze is good and satisfying.

‘Veganuary’ isn’t a challenge if you’re doing it at Samakjé, especially when surrounded by the scenic views of the world’s largest fountains at The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah.
