Carrefour, owned and operated by Majid Al Futtaim in the UAE has launched “Cookit Yourself” — a curated recipe box created to bring a hassle-free yet tasty and healthy alternative cooking experience to customers’ kitchens.
Delivering exceptional value and added convenience, the Cookit Yourself box is packed with pre-portioned fresh Carrefour ingredients and step-by-step chef-inspired recipes, designed to encourage people to cook and enjoy a meal at home without having to purchase separate ingredients.
Philippe Peguilhan, Country Manager of Carrefour UAE at Majid Al Futtaim Retail said: “We understand that today, more so than ever, customers are more particular about quality and hygiene and are looking for more convenient and quicker ways to cook at home. As such, our newly introduced Cookit Yourself recipe boxes provide customers peace of mind, giving them full control over their cooking experience by allowing them to choose from chef-curated recipes which use trusted quality Carrefour ingredients. Cookit Yourself takes the stress out of shopping, preparing and cooking and is a new way for families to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal they can be proud of, all within 30 minutes.”
Designed to simplify cooking without compromising on taste or quality, each box comes with an easy-to-cook recipe serving two that can be prepared following a visual recipe card with bonus chef’s tips, or online through Cookit Yourself’s dedicated videos on Carrefour’s YouTube channel.
Carrefour’s Cookit Yourself boxes are available online and in-store at selected stores across the UAE ranging from AED 25 AND AED 70 each. Customers have the choice of seven different balanced meal options, ranging from much-loved ethnic dishes to vegetarian options including chicken and mushroom tagliatelle, salmon teriyaki salad, sweet and sour chicken, kerala style prawns, aubergine masala, dawood basha and festive turkey. To keep the Cookit Yourself boxes exciting and refreshed, chefs at Carrefour’s central kitchen are working to add new recipes options in the future.
