A new menu twist brings the best of Italian flavours to Luigia

15 fresh dishes add an innovative spin on timeless Italian favourites

 

Dubai, United Arab Emirates,– Award-winning Italian restaurant Luigia, located at the Rixos Premium in JBR, adds 15 new flavourful dishes to its impressive menu, set to delight guests longing for a taste of traditional Italian cooking.

Luigia is known for serving the best-loved, quintessentially Italian dishes and the revamped menu will include several refreshing twists to create a bit of nostalgia for guests who grew up eating these meals – from the starters, pasta, pizza, salads and sides; and a new section called Grandi Classici which features timeless Italian favourites created with high-quality, seasonal ingredients sourced directly from Italy.

 

Menu highlights include Sfizi Fritti, also known as starters, which in the Italian gastronomic culture must be eaten before the main course. Starters on the updated menu include Arancini Siciliani, breaded saffron rice stuffed with bolognese sauce and green peas, served with tomato sauce; Alici Fritte, deep-fried anchovies served with tartar sauce or Contadina, a mesclun salad, fava beans, grilled chicken, sweet corn, cucumber, datterini tomatoes.

New mains include Lasagne Gratinate al Forno a Legna, a wood-oven gratin beef lasagna; Gnocchetti alla Sorrentina Gratinati al Forno a Legna, a wood-oven gratin potato Gnocchetti dish with tomato sauce, basil, buffalo mozzarella and Fior di Latte.

Diners will find favourites such as the mussels with parsley, also known as Sautée Di Cozze, or a fresh Pesce Spada Alla Messinese with breaded Swordfish served with rocket salad and datterini tomatoes added to the fresh menu.

Luigia promises to always take guests on a rich gastronomic journey, serving up the best of Italy in a sophisticated yet relaxed setting.
