A Summer Season In The Heart Of The Adriatic At Porto Montenegro

Located in the UNESCO-protected Bay of Kotor, Porto Montenegro offers an exciting calendar of year-round activities and summer 2022 is no exception. With a vibrant series of events, concerts and festivals planned for locals, crew club, residents and international tourists, the summer social calendar has something for all the family. A dynamic programme of concerts, wine tastings and foodie weekends, a fashion show, sporting competitions and outdoor challenges – make Porto Montenegro this summer’s Mediterranean hotspot.

With more than 280 days of sunshine and 295km of beautiful coastline, Montenegro is one of the most picturesque countries in Europe. Porto Montenegro is a short drive from Lake Skadar, the largest lake in Southern Europe, often overlooked by the tourist trail and three hours’ drive to Tara Canyon, the second deepest canyon in the world. In winter and early spring, the snow-capped mountains of Kolasin and Zabljak, reaching more than 2,000 metres high, provide the ideal setting for skiing away from Europe’s more crowded resorts.

Porto Montenegro is the perfect base for setting sail to the best beach clubs in the country, from Ribarsko Selo , a beach restaurant where fishermen bring in fresh catches of the day, to the world-famous Nikki Beach, a recent stylish addition to the Bay of Tivat. For culture vultures, there is the medieval, fortified town of Kotor with its limestone cliffs and winding streets, and the magical Our Lady of the Rocks church, set on an islet off the coast of Perast.

The marina village and Yacht Club are the heart of Porto Montenegro’s buzzing social scene and play host to the majority of summer events, as residents and guests, old and new come together to enjoy the idyllic Boka Bay location. As the world’s first platinum-status marina, Porto Montenegro strives to continually exceed the needs of guests, captains and crew –making it the perfect cruising base for the season and the most exciting hotspot in the  Adriatic.
