The homegrown vegan eatery will be serving up an irresistible plant-based Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day lunch on December 24 and 25, suitable for the whole family.
For plant-based diners in Dubai looking to enjoy an indulgent Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day lunch, homegrown vegan eatery, Planet Terra will be serving a delicious six-course menu created entirely with animal-free, organic ingredients that are sourced fresh from ethical and sustainable suppliers.
Serving from 7pm onwards on December 24 and from 12pm – 3pm on December 25, Planet Terra’s vegan Christmas menu will be available at its branch in The Greens, complete with Christmas carols to spread festive cheer on the big day and presents under the tree for little guests on both days.
The Christmas menu is priced at AED 220 for a six-course menu with water, AED 250 for a six-course menu with two cozy drinks (Pumpkin Spice latte, Mulled Wine, orHot Chocolate), AED 300 for a set menu with two glasses of organic non- alcoholic white or red wine, or AED 325 for a set menu with two glasses of organic non-alcoholic Sparkling Wine. For children, there’s a special package priced at AED 60 per child, which includes one main from the kids’ menu, a hot chocolate and a Christmas cookie. Pre-booking is required.
Christmas at Planet Terra begins with an amuse bouche of Truffle Taco with mushrooms and cream, followed by a starter of Not Tuna Tartare with beef tomato, haricots, mint and crème fraîche. A mango and lime granita ensues to refresh the palate, then diners have a choice of mains with options including butternut and pesto ravioli in a zesty cream with basil, or pumpkin turkey roll with chestnut puree, rainbow carrots and jus – all dishes of which are created using animal-free ingredients.
Dessert is so good, it comes twice. Beginning with a hazelnut and pecan mille fuille with cream, strawberries, coulis, and ice cream, followed by an after-dessert course of dark chocolate Christmas truffle with pistachio and ginger.
At this vegan Christmas feast, diners can expect everything made from scratch in-house, with no artificial sweeteners, no refined sugars, and no GMOs.
Kick-starting the festivities, Planet Terra will be getting into the Christmas spirit from December 20th, when its seasonal drinks menu will debut to serve up warming beverages like non-alcoholic mulled wine, pumpkin spiced latte, and hot chocolate – each made with a choice of plant-based mylk options like almond, soy, oat and coconut. The festive beverage menu will be available until December 31 in both of Planet Terra’s branches in The Greens and Ibis World Trade Centre.
For those on the look-out for treats for enjoying at home or festive gifts to share with friends, Planet Terra’s Christmas Chocolate Log Cakes are now available to order. The logs can be purchased in two sizes – 8 inches to serve 14 slices (AED 250) and 12 inches to serve 20 slices (AED 350). Pre-order is required.
