Almarai wins Best Employee Health Initiative Award

RIYADH — Almarai received the award of best health initiative among government and private entities in Saudi Arabia at WA’AI Awards, the awareness competition organized by the Ministry of Health in partnership with Council of Cooperative Health Insurance.

Almarai achieved the award over the company’s internal communication initiative “We Care.” The initiative is concerned with broadcasting health awareness messages to all company employees through more than 100 health activities that are derived from three tracks: mental, physical and nutritional health.

“I am proud of this achievement, which confirms that Almarai’s slogan, Quality You Can Trust, is not limited to providing high-quality food products, but also includes achieving quality in all our internal and external initiatives,” said Hala Alabidy, internal communications and change management manager at Almarai.

“Providing a healthy environment for our quality makers is at the top of our priorities since our employees are the real fortune of the company and the main engine behind every success we achieve,” she added.

It is worth noting that Almarai, which is the largest vertically integrated dairy company in the world, was awarded the Best Culture of Happiness and Best Culture of Learning by LinkedIn in 2017.
