Amilla Maldives Conducts Online Training in the GCC

In order to build and and strengthen relationships with travel trade partners, while keeping in mind the safety of everyone, the Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences conducted an online training in the GCC.

Attending the training was a number of top selling agents of Maldives from the GCC. The virtual event started off with an opening remark from Mr. Ahmed Fathallah, General Manager – Destination Marketing of Mohamed Al Geziry Consultancy, the representative of Amilla Maldives in the region.

Afterwards, Ms. Yuliya Pospelova, Senior Sales Manager of Amilla Maldives proceeded with the online training. “We would like to thank everyone who participated in our first online training for the region! We have high hopes that what we have imparted was of great benefit to our trade partners and has provided them with further destination knowledge and insight on selling the resort, in line with their clients’ needs.” said Ms. Pospelova.

The Online Training provided much useful information for trade partners to further enhance their knowledge about the destination, the journey to Amilla, their story, and the different accommodations, activities, dining options, and more. They also discussed about what makes Amilla unique, as well as its selling points, compared to the other destinations in the Maldives. Aside from this, they had shown stunning videos of Amilla to aid in the virtual experience even more.

“We truly acknowledge that the previous year has been proven difficult for everyone in the travel trade, but we are hopeful that this year will be the beginning of better days. With news of vaccines and its distribution, giving us hope that things will get back to normal soon enough. Through online trainings like this, we are able to gather our trade partners virtually, reach out and speak to them albeit being online.” said Mr. Fathallah.

After the Online Training, attendees were sent a survey to help gauge their understanding of the training and to gather their feedback on the property, and on how else these Online Trainings can be improved. One trade partner who responded to the survey will be given a chance to experience the destination first-hand, courtesy of Amilla Maldives.

The Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences will be launching more online trainings in the future for those who were not able to attend and participate. All trade partners are welcome to be in touch if they wish to participate.
