Apparel Group home-grown brand R&B Kids along with Fakeeh University Hospital & Tommee Tippee hosted the first-ever coffee morning for new and expectant mums

Dubai, UAE- R&B Kids, a brand of Apparel Group hosted a coffee morning for new and expectant mothers. This event was aimed at bringing like-minded parents together in an informal setting to comfortably share their motherhood journey and tips/hacks with each other. Mothers and expectant mothers across the UAE attended the event, which focused on a mom’s well-being along with physical and mental health.

A world-class healthcare and academic facility in the UAE, Fakeeh University Hospital, Dubai Silicon Oasis (FUH) joined R&B Kids as a partner. The hospital is known for implementing international quality standards in its services. Dr. Alaa Younus Mohammed, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist, at Fakeeh University Hospital led the informative discussion on the journey of motherhood at the event. R&B Kids plans to start a support group for new and expectant mothers through these coffee mornings to further strengthen the mother’s community in this country. The event was also in line with Tommee Tippee’s global campaign, “The Truth Is” – which encourages parents, especially moms, to share their stories on the complex and emotional realities of parenting. The panel discussion was successful in shining light on many insightful relatable stories of similar yet distinct motherhood journeys, as one of the attendees expressed; “People judge mothers too soon, but at the end of the day, you have to do what you think is right for your baby’s and your own well-being.”

Aside from the educational discourse which was actively participated by moms, all attendees enjoyed their coffee and sumptuous breakfast prepared by Molten Chocolate Café, and special gifts were received from R&B Kids on behalf of Sebamed, Brothermax, Tomee Tippee, Skiphop, and Infantino. The attendees were also given a special tour of the new R&B Kids store at Dubai Hills Mall, where they got an exclusive introduction to R&B Kids’ newborn collection and baby essentials.
