Akira Back returns to Dubai to launch two new offers, The Greatest Hits and Social Saturday at Akira Back

On the 19th and 20th of November, the Michelin-starred Chef will be introducing two carefully curated menus at his self-titled restaurant, Akira Back, located at the iconic W Dubai – The Palm. Over the two days, guests dining at the adrenaline-fueled, modern Japanese restaurant will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to the meet the man of the hour, as he steps into the kitchen to prepare the very best in culinary creativity, featuring an impressive blend of mouth-watering Japanese cuisine with Korean essence.
On Friday 19th November, The Greatest Hits set menu is a celebration of Akira Back’s most popular dishes, featuring 13 delectable creations, including a number of his best-sellers, the Tuna Pizza, Grilled Octopus, with a smoked jalapeno sauce, and Scallops Half Shell, served with a creamy kimchi butter sauce. If there is still room for more, the Butter Mochi Cake and Chocolate in Cup will end the night on a sweet note. From AED 1,599 for two, diners who purchase The Greatest Hits set menu will also receive a signed copy of Akira Back’s Greatest Hits book, for his 13 world-renowned dishes.
The culinary adventure continues on Saturday 20th November, with the launch of Akira Back’s brand-new Saturday lunch experience, Social Saturday at Akira Back. Hosted by the man himself, diners can indulge in three starters, with a choice of hot and cold dishes to choose from, including Creamy Spinach Salad, Eggplant Miso, Lobster Tempura or AB Tacos. For mains, foodies can choose one sushi or sashimi dish and one main course, such as Miso Black Cod or 48 Hour Short Rib, served with root veggies. For those with a sweet tooth, Harumaki or the Spice Souq will hit just the spot. With prices starting from AED 395 per person, Social Saturday at Akira Back is the perfect way to end the weekend and will continue every Saturday after the launch.
The mood is set for two unforgettable dining experiences, with uninterrupted views of the Dubai skyline and live entertainment from Jul and Co, delivering interpretations of rare funk grooves, rock classics and bossa-nova anthems, revisited by keyboards, talk-box singing, flute playing and infectious live drums.
