What better way to celebrate the warm weather than to reward yourself with a refreshing and healthy glass of Iced Tea. The most widely consumed beverage in the world next to water, tea is one of the healthiest beverages you can drink.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability, the Beverage Program R&D team at London Dairy Cafe used the dried skin of a coffee cherry (cascara), usually considered a waste byproduct of the coffee-production process, to produce a unique drink which is the Cascara Spritzer.
Launched in Ramadan, the team also developed and offered the Cascara syrup (Dhs55), paying homage to the Middle East’s ancient heritage as the energy drink was a staple in the daily prayer rituals of the past. It’s also perfect for DIY drinks at home.
The Iced Cascara Spritzer (Dhs20) is packed with lots of nutritional benefits as it is high in antioxidants and aids in digestion. The refreshing drink that tastes like cherry lemonade is both hydrating and surprisingly pleasant.
