The authentic Italian restaurant located on West Palm Beach will be celebrating all things tomatoes with a fun activation and a tasty tomato-inspired menu which will be available for just one week
Cucina, the recently opened authentic, Italian trattoria located on West Palm Beah in Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, will be celebrating the humble tomato, this International Tomato Day on Thursday 6th April, with a juicy offer which will leave audiences hungry for more.
Guests will be able to experience the ultimate tomato tribute at Cucina and enjoy Chef de Cuisine, Emanuele Rizzo’s special Spaghetti ai tre pomodori, free of charge by simply bringing in the fruit – and in turn, savour the classic Spaghetti with Cucina’s compliments.
Chef Emanuele’s special Spaghetti ai tre pomodori is a mouth-watering dish made from the perfect balance of the freshest heirloom and artisanal preserved tomatoes from woman run tomato company – Italiana Vera. The dish is delicately seasoned with garlic, basil and olive oil – after which it is expertly tossed with handmade spaghetti made on site in the dedicated pasta making room.
“This dish is a true reflection of my roots and the place I call home. From the very first time I learned to cook as a young boy, it has held a special place in my heart. The tomatoes, which grew in abundance during the season in my hometown, are the key ingredient that make it so special – and I am proud to bring a piece of my heritage to our menu and share it with our guests,” said Chef Emanuele.”
To further celebrate the joy of tomatoes, Cucina has curated an exclusive seasonal à la carte menu made using this delectable fruit as its inspiration.
A tantalising array of tomato-infused dishes, including mouth-watering starters like Frisella Pomodoro Corbarino as well as moreish main courses such as the Ricciola alla Griglia and Culurgiones al Pomodoro San Marzano – only available for one week from 6th April to 13th April. Better still, Cucina has created a special tomato cocktail infused with gin and for dessert, an Innovative tomato sorbet courtesy of the Gelateria by Cucina.
Each bite is a celebration of the tomato’s versatility and a true reflection of Cucina’s commitment to culinary excellence.
