Celebrate UAE National Day at Emirati-owned Monno Ristorante

Artisanal Italian restaurant, Monno in Jumeirah will celebrate UAE National Day on December 2 with a delicious, limited-edition UAE flag pizza.

DUBAI, UAE– In celebration of the UAE’s 51st National Day on December 2, proudly Emirati-owned restaurant Monno will be serving up a limited-edition UAE flag pizza prepared in true Neapolitan style.

Shaped by hand and made using only the finest Italian ingredients, the UAE flag pizza is created using made in-house dough and traditional San Marzano DOP tomato sauce. Toppings include creamy mozzarella fior di latte from Napoli, fresh rocket and black olives. The eye-catching and patriotic pizza is available for one day only for lunch and dinner at Monno, and priced at AED 50 per pizza.

Monno’s co-founder and Emirati national, Hamad Abdelsalam said: “UAE National Day celebrates the union of a nation and its people. It is important for us as Emiratis to celebrate this day and express the pride and honour of being a part of this country. The celebrations serve as a reminder of the continuous support the country offers to us in all fields. Each family has its way of celebrating this special day by gathering with family members, meeting up with friends, or joining the car parades on the streets. Celebrating National Day at Monno is a way to express the pride and gratitude we hold having Monno labelled as an Emirati-owned business. At Monno, we have created a special pizza for the national day weekend and invite everyone to come celebrate with us.”

Served fresh from Monno’s custom-built, classic pizza oven, diners can expect the warming and comforting smell of freshly baked pizza to hit their nose as soon as they enter the restaurant. Once presented to diners, pizzas are hand-cut with scissors – as done in Naples – to ensure precision and that all ingredients remain in place on the thin base and the pillowy crust continues to stand fluffily and crispy.

Monno is located at 304 Al Wasl Road, Jumeirah 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is open daily for lunch and dinner from 12pm – 12am. For further information.
