The tier-1 facility is the First Club with WPT facilities in the world
The very first club with World Padel Tour (WPT) facilities in the world – Central Padel Dubai – is hosting its highly anticipated grand opening event on Saturday, 5th of February at the brand new Al Quoz location. The state-of-the-art club is opening its doors to the public where it will host international padel champions who will play in a one-of-a-kind exhibition match to officially open the facility.
At the grand opening event, Padel fanatics and novices can marvel at a world class showcase of the sport, when Juan Lebrón (currently ranked world’s #1) takes on rising star Agustín Tapia (world’s #6) in an exciting exhibition match on the central court. The two most talented players in the world will be facing each other in an exciting exhibition match on the central court. World Padel Tour officials – coming directly from Spain – will also be awarding honorary plaques numbered 001 to 007 on each court to formally mark the occasion.
Since its soft launch in December, select players have been gracing the seven WPT courts and it has already become a hit with the sport’s insiders, early members and aficionados. It is now open
for the wider community, where players of all levels can experience what it is like to play on a professional WPT court.

Memberships are available for regular Padel players. Likewise, more casual players and novices can simply book-and-play or arrange lessons on the Central Padel app. The premium club has a variety of packages, social events and competitive programs for the community including; Pink Squad (ladies morning), Turbo Padel (matchmaking and casual competition), Kings of the Court (top players weekly challenge), Kids Academy and more.
To round out the grand opening, there will also be a meet & greet where fans will have the opportunity to own padels from the brand new Nox 2022 collection, which will be signed by the Nox brand ambassador and Central Padel special guestAgustin Tapia.
As the fastest growing sport in the region, Central Padel has finally provided an official home in the UAE for the World Padel Tour. With the foundations firmly and officially laid, Dubai can now take on the Padel world.
