Couqley French Bistro & Bar launches Iftar Set Menu

Couqley French Bistro & Bar has created a two and three-course special Iftar menu available all throughout Ramadan. The perfect Iftar for those in search of somewhere cosy with foods that range from well-known favourites to flavours of Arabia. Customers can choose from a two-course meal for AED 149 or three-course for AED 179. The set menu includes a variety of options that are sure to turn heads for all favourites, whether customers are in the mood for the very well-known meaty favourite, Steak Frites or new additions such as the Lamb Rack & Smoked Aubergine.The set menu will be available daily from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Starters

  • FOIE GRAS WAGYU MEATBALLS Wagyu meatballs stuffed with pan-seared foie gras laying on top of smoked aubergine purée & fresh pomegranate (D) (N)
  • SOUPE DU JOUR ask your server (N)
  • CALAMARS FRITS tender marinated calamari, battered & lightly fried, served in a large martini glass with an Asian dipping sauce (N)
  • GRILLED PORTOBELLO fresh portobello mushrooms baked in a light cream with parmesan (V) ASPERGES ET CHAMPIGNONS fresh asparagus sautéed with wild trumpet mushrooms in a light creamy sauce (V)

Main Course

  • LAMB RACK & SMOKED AUBERGINE – Grilled lamb rack served with purple potato & smoked aubergine purée with lamb jus, topped with spiced micro herbs (D) (N)
  • COUQLEY’S STEAK FRITES – the house favorite, a tender 180g tenderloin, served in Couqley’s signature sauce with frites. Add AED 38 for 280g
  • FREE-RANGE CHICKEN – tender grilled French chicken served in our signature creamy herb infused sauce with frites
  • RIGATONI ARRABBIATA – rigatoni pasta in our homemade plum-tomato sauce with fresh basil & parmesan cheese. Add AED 19 for stracciatella di burrata & eggplant (N) (V)

Dessert
