Abu Dhabi, UAE- COYA Abu Dhabi, the Peruvian lifestyle destination, is proud to further its support for emerging artists by unveiling a new art exhibition.
Throughout November and December, guests at the Al Maryah Island hotspot are invited to view and enjoy electrifying works from abstract expressionist artist Cécile Lobert.
An exciting collaboration that adds to the prominent art-focused strand of COYA’s unique DNA, Cécile’s bold and striking paintings will be displayed on the walls of the colourful restaurant until the end of the year.
Born in Brussels, Belgium, Cécile Lobert is a neurodiverse, non-verbal visual artist who has lived in the UAE, France and Libya.
Passionate about breaking down prejudices and social preconceptions, she prompts audiences to connect with their true selves or “bare consciousnesses”, challenging societal standardisation. Featuring head-turning explosions of neon colours and thick brush strokes, her confident and unique style perfectly complements the creative and revolutionary spirit of COYA.
Having exhibited across the world’s major cities, including Venice, Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona and New York, the eclectic and thought-provoking artist is proud to showcase her latest collection at COYA Abu Dhabi.
