Extending Valentine’s Day across the whole month of February, the modern Indian bistro has created a limited-edition menu of new dishes sprinkled with plenty of spice and a little bit of love…
Forget one lousy day of romance, Farzi Café is playing cupid for the entire month of February with a Lovers Menu sure to set hearts fluttering and taste buds tingling this Valentine’s. Created by Farzi Café ’s culinary maestro, Executive Chef Pradeep Singh Negi, the limited-edition menu proves that the only way to a person’s heart is through their stomach.
Serving up a show-stopping array of never-seen-before Farzi fusion dishes, the Lovers Menu is perfect for foodie couples or friends alike looking to take a culinary journey this Feb. Featuring the Insta-star Dahi Bhalla Ice Cream – a yogurt cloud with lentil dumplings and raspberry dust; succulent tandoori butter chicken wings with a makhni butter gravy and burnt garlic sour cream; and so-wacky-it-works maska (a Mumbai-based street food bun) stuffed with fettucine lamb Bolognese, Farzi’s a la carte Valentine’s-themed menu has been purposely priced to encourage diners to try as many flavour combos as they can.
Priced from AED 32 for starters, AED 42 for mains and desserts – the Farzi team has curated a tasting experience like no other. Plates such as the paneer tikka sandwich layered with creamy almond butter and tart blood oranges or the finest wagyu rib eye with a piquant Chimichurri sauce, cumin-laced potatoes and whole roasted garlic on the side are made to impress. While a duo of decadent desserts – an enchantingly pretty pile of golden gulab jamun or milk dumplings decked with frozen bursts of pink rose and a delicate heart-shaped biscotti topped with berry compote and an edible foral jelly – will warm the coldest of hearts.
Executive Chef Pradeep Singh Negi says; “We are looking to create a stir with our Valentine’s Day dishes this year and how better than to make it into a month-long culinary celebration. We want our food savvy guests to go on a journey with us, sampling as many of our creations as they can and letting us know what they think of a fresh bank of fusion flavours. We’re looking forward to getting these dishes out of the kitchen and into the hearts of couples across the city this February.”
As well as the exclusive Lovers Menu, Farzi Café’s modern Indian menu has been delighting its UAE guests since it opened in 2016. Dishes such as Parsi chicken curry and coriander parantha, Kerala shrimp biryani with black gram pachadi and double dairy dal makhni are long-lasting favourites; along with the more unusual such as deconstructed Shepherd’s pie with tawa aloo seared Wagyu and Chicken changezi with jeera khaari pizza. Loved as much for their sliders and stacks; spice-filled fresh salads and buzzy weekend brunches – Farzi Café is known for delivering thrilling flavour combinations and a contemporary take on classic Indian dishes.
Sure to get couples swooning and pulses soaring, Farzi Café’s Lovers Menu is available from 1st – 28th February 2022 at both restaurants in City Walk and Mall of the Emirates
