Dubai-: Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) has organised the first periodic health check for delivery riders as part of its Riders’ Corner initiative. The latest community focused initiative, by Dubai’s health and wellness destination, provides a custom air-conditioned space for riders to rest, get access to drinking water, and charge their phones while waiting for orders.
Fifty delivery riders were welcomed to the new space and given health check-ups in the presence of senior representatives from Dubai Healthcare City Authority, Careem, Deliveroo, noon Food, noon Minutes, talabat and InstaShop. Launched in partnership with Clemenceau Medical Center (CMC Dubai), Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai and Al Manara Pharmacy, the screenings are among a range of services available to this vital segment of Dubai’s workforce and is a significant addition to DHCC’s corporate social responsibility portfolio that showcases its mission to enable excellence in healthcare across the emirate.
The healthcare providers, DHCC’s long standing business partners, will provide periodic health check-ups, ophthalmology screenings and vitamin supplements as part of the initiative. The Riders’ Corner is located alongside Society, DHCC’s newest community-focused dining and retail destination in Al Razi Medical Complex in Building 64.
