– Abu Dhabi Golf Club reduces Emirates Golf Federation green fee rate –

Abu Dhabi Golf Club, UAE,: Abu Dhabi Golf Club, host venue to the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and managed by world’s leading golf management company, Troon, has reduced both the weekday and weekend green fee rate for the growing number of Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) members.

Formed in 1995, the EGF is the governing body of amateur golf in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The EGF administrates and provides official handicaps to all EGF members and sanctions all professional and amateur golf events in the UAE. The governing body is overseen by a Board of Directors under the General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare.

The governing body offers a popular membership scheme to amateur golfers wishing to play golf in the UAE, enter tournaments and be issues with an official handicap without being a full member of a club. Upon presentation of a valid EGF membership card or by booking through the EGF website or App members can now avail a discounted rate on the world renowned National and Garden courses at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

EGF members can revel in Abu Dhabi Golf Club’s 27-holes of Championship golf. The National, host course to the European Tour Rolex series event, provides a tough but fair challenge, with lush fairways, strategically placed bunkers and generous greens and one of the finest courses in the Middle East. Abu Dhabi Golf Club also features the floodlit 9-hole Garden Course, which provides a great test for those keen to enjoy Championship golf throughout the day and once the sun’s gone down, with tee times available from 7am to 9pm daily.

Of the news rates, new Club Manager at Abu Dhabi Golf Club, Chris White, commented: “Delighted to share a more accessible rate for EGF members to further encourage golf among residents of the UAE. We look forward to welcoming them to our fairways very soon.”
