Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates-: The nation’s capital has officially been designated as a ‘City of Music’ by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Creative City Network. The stunning beachfront community and newest attraction in the city, Mamsha Al Saadiyat, is celebrating this accolade this Valentine’s Day, with Music at the Boardwalk – an entertaining display of musical performances every evening from 11 to 14 February 2022.

The ‘City of Music’ title further strengthens Abu Dhabi’s position as the home of an exceptional thriving music scene. Throughout Music at the Boardwalk, a dazzling lineup of contemporary, established and passionate artists will serenade guests with their rendition of romantic classics from Celine Dion, Adele and other cult-favourites. With three multi-genre artists showcasing at three stages every day, visitors can revel in sweet tunes all evening, while enjoying the majestic view of the beach at Mamsha Al Saadiyat.

The exciting lineup of artists to grace the Promenade include indie and rock artist Ibby VK, Filipino singer-songwriter Jerome Deligero, Dubai-based performer Ollie Chapman, and other artists including Donia, Vera, Bruno Fave, Martyn, Al Farah, Leone and Rony Starkis.

The romantic evening does not stop there, as the pristine 1.4 km white-sand beach boasts a roster of diverse retail and dining outlets. Love birds and single romantics can celebrate the Day of Hearts with a lovely dinner from a variety of cuisines, including stunning Levant restaurant Beirut Sur Mer, healthy eating spot Alkalime, gourmet pizza from Antonia, French fare fused with Amazonian vibes at Raclette Brasserie & Café, Insta-famous burgers and CrazyShake milkshakes from Black Tap, a carnivore’s paradise at The Steak Room, an authentic and contemporary sushi menu at NIRI Restaurant and Bar, Jamaican food at the Vibrant Ting Irie Restaurant & Lounge, and popular capital cafe boutique, Ten 11 Beach.  Visitors can also grab an after-show beverage from Emirati artisan café Coffee Architecture.  For the singles this Valentine’s Day, ladies can treat themselves to a relaxing pamper session at Tara Rose Salon, and men can enjoy some relaxing retail therapy at Local Mamsha, which incorporates its original barber and beverage services, alongside a homeware and fashion element.
