Dubai, UAE: The luxurious French Mediterranean venue, La Voile Rouge, recently opened its doors in February 2022. Located in Al Futtan Currency House, DIFC, the restaurant presents guests with the best fine dining experience in French cuisine. With a range of luscious dishes and beverages to choose from and a stylish vibe, La Voile Rouge is truly a one-of-a-kind venue and is here to stay.
The stylish blend of modern-classic designs, intriguing atmosphere and excellent dishes served at La Voile Rouge has attracted all the DIFC workers and culinary enthusiasts. The plates have been carefully designed and are colour coded for guests, ladies receive red plates while gentlemen are offered blue. A shade of beautiful Mediterranean ocean blue coats the walls of the restaurant, conveying a sense of elegance and coolness to the space. Entertainment director Richard’s memories across 30 summers in St Tropez are depicted on black and white photo frames adorning the walls. These nostalgic memories interject a personal touch to the venue and consist of old friends of Richard’s and the créme de la créme of celebrities, supermodels, politicians and everything in between.
Running the kitchen at La Voile Rouge is talented and ambitious Chef Junior. With over 15 years of experience in the F&B industry and over ten months of precisely sourcing the best and freshest ingredients, La Voile Rouge’s seasonal menu is a testament to sustainable, high-quality produce to present honest and authentic dishes. Diners can enjoy a wide range of delectable dishes, including the likes of a delicious Sea Bass Carpaccio (Dhs 80), Escargot (Dhs 95) and a rich and fresh Lobster Risotto (Dhs 180).
Gourmands are advised to not leave the table without trying the most talked about showstopping dish, Truffle-chino; an incredible masterpiece of truffle and mash potato encased in an espresso cup. End the lavish dining experience on a sweet note with La Voile Rouge’s seasonal Fresh Fruit Platter (Dhs 75), everyone’s favourite The Lemon (Dhs 65), or a mouth-watering Caramel Cookie Skillet (Dhs 70) that simply melts in the mouth.
