Fuchsia Urban Thai Celebrates Songkran with Complimentary Festive Dessert


This Songkran, the ancient Thai water festival, Fuchsia Urban Thai will commemorate the special occasion with complimentary servings of Bua Loy from the 13th – 15th April. To celebrate the Buddist Solar New Year, people in Thailand splash water on each other while enjoying traditional festival foods in honour of the occasion. 

Bua Loy, meaning ‘Floating Water Lily’ is the perfect sweet dessert to celebrate such a momentous water themed celebration. 

The delicious Bua Loy dessert consists of rice flour rolled into small balls, cooked in coconut milk and sugar.

Customers can enjoy this traditional dessert in honour of the Songkran festival this 13th -15th of April. Available for dine-in customers only upon the purchase of a main at both venues, Bay Square and Barsha Heights.
