General Consulate of Mauritius to Celebrate Independence Day in The United Arab Emirates

Dubai, United Arab Emirates-: General Consulate of the Republic of Mauritius in the United Arab Emirates is set to celebrate the 55th Anniversary of the Independence of Mauritius and 31st Anniversary of the accession of Mauritius to the status of Republic at a soiree and an evening of festivities that will showcase the various facets of Mauritius in terms of culture, business and tourism.

The event which will be held at the Oval Lawn Garden of the Arabian Court in One and Only Royal Mirage, Dubai on 17th March, will honour the island country and its people.

Mauritius national day being celebrated on 12th of March, UAE leaders congratulated Hon. Pravin Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister of Mauritius and H.E. Prithvirajsing Roopun of Mauritius on this auspicious day.

It will be the first time that such a National Day of this scale is being organised in the GCC. The Economic Development Board of Mauritius and the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority are also partaking in this event to showcase Mauritius as a destination of excellence for business and tourism. Dignitaries from the GCC, members of the business community, members of the Mauritian diaspora, media influencers, travel industry players and members of local press will be attending this unprecedented event.

The soirée promises to be an unforgettable night of celebration, networking, and cultural exchange; with guests having the opportunity to network while enjoying the best highlights of Mauritius.
