Gordo Debuts in the Middle East with three performances

Nicki Minaj, Maluma & Myriam Fares enlisted globally-acclaimed DJ/producer GORDO to produce “Tukoh Taka”, the official new FIFA World Cup anthem. The record is out today via Universal Arabic Music/Universal Music Group/ Republic Records.
After producing nearly half of Drake’s album ‘Honestly Nevermind’ earlier this year, touring the world with his unique Latin American infused sound, being crowned #1 Hispanic DJ by DJ Mag, and linking up with Colombian superstar FEID for Hombres y Mujeres, also out today, GORDO is closing the year with one more highlight as the producer of “Tukoh Taka.” The track makes history as the first FIFA World Cup song featuring English, Spanish and Arabic lyrics, while GORDO’s house music influence shines through in the high-energy cross-continental record.
GORDO (previously known as Carnage), is having a stellar year, producing nearly half of Drake’s ‘Honestly Nevermind’, getting crowned #1 Hispanic DJ by DJ Mag and #1 producer by Billboard, returning to his roots with a groundbreaking Latin American tour, as well as opening a learning center in Guatemala together with Seeds Of Learning.
GORDO will make his Middle-Eastern debut in Dubai at FIVE Palm Jumeirah, before heading to Qatar for Aravia; the festival which is taking place during the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and Riyadh for Soundstorm festival.
