To coincide with Cinnamon Bun Day on the 4th of October, an annual theme day that celebrates Swedish baking traditions of the “Kanelbulle”, a Guinness World record in being attempted at Expo 2020.
The UAE’s most popular cake shop Mister Baker and the Swedish Pavilion are teaming up to create the world’s longest line of traditional Swedish cinnamon buns. This is being done to commemorate Fika, a Swedish social phenomenon involving quality time with friends and family over a coffee and pastries.
Visitors to the Swedish Pavilion and Expo 2020 are invited to come and watch the spectacle from 3:30 pm onwards on the day. The creation of the Guinness World record is expected to be announced by 4:30 pm
To celebrate the achievement, the delicious rolls will then be shared with the hundreds of Expo-goers in and outside the Swedish pavilion.
