Originally from France, De Kermel has over 36 years of hospitality experience and held several managerial positions in countries such as Tunisia, Seychelles, Morocco and Brazil, working with renowned hotel groups such as Hilton, Holiday Inn, and Ramada. From starting his career as a Front Office Manager in France to being a General Manager at over five different properties, he has honed his leadership talents and managed multicultural teams with great success.
De Kermel’s strengths in operations management, guest experience and quality assurance, business development and strategic planning are key to successfully oversee the day-to-day operations of the newly-refurbished Villa Diyafa Boutique Hotel & Spa. A people-oriented person, he will be working closely with the staff and guests at all levels, ensuring a memorable boutique experience.
