On Wednesday 7th October the capital’s award-winning restaurant offers a Chinese bakery treat
Abu Dhabi, UAE, – As the cooler months approach, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi is set to celebrate Chinese Mid-Autumn festival. On Wednesday 7th October, the renowned Cantonese restaurant will offer all dining guests a complimentary dessert as part of their Hakkasan experience.
The Chinese bakery delicacy, Mooncake is a traditional dessert that is enjoyed as part of the annual celebrations, also known as the Lantern Festival. It is the second most celebrated festival by the East Asian population, with a history dating back over 3,000 years when China’s emperors worshipped the moon for a lavish harvest.
Hakkasan is accepting dinner reservations from 6 pm to 11.30 pm, Monday to Saturday, with the introduction of Friday Dim Sum lunch from 12 pm to 3.30 pm. As per government approval and regulations, the restaurant will be operating at 60% capacity with a maximum of four people per table, until further notice.
Hakkasan consistently brings a modern interpretation of authentic Cantonese cuisine, taking inspiration from both contemporary and ancient China. Hakkasan has always been committed to providing its customers with a unique experience that will keep guests coming back for more.
Walk-ins are still welcome, however, guests are advised to reserve in advance to guarantee a table. A two-hour return time is also in place to ensure that more people can visit in a safe and spread out time frame.
In compliance with the Abu Dhabi Clean Program, the award-winning restaurant is taking every precaution by meticulously following the guidelines set out for the safety of both its staff and guests. From hand sanitizer dispensers to the contactless payment processes and newly introduced digital menus available via QR code scan, guests can enjoy the Hakkasan experience without concern.
The bar area will remain closed throughout this period, until further notice.
