Entrepreneurs are invited to chat with the team on stand D2-19 during the four day event at DWTC

Everyone’s favourite healthy treat-on-a-stick provider, House of Pops, is offering the chance to join in on the happy, healthy snack revolution by showcasing its all-natural pops at the forthcoming Gulfood exhibition

The UAE’s leading disruptive dessert maker, House of Pops, is joining Gulfood, the world’s largest annual F&B sourcing event, to share its mission of making the world a happier place – one pop at a time.

House of Pops has grown from strength to strength in three short years, as more people realise you can enjoy a tasty treat without worrying about health, high calories or added nasties. Today, the brand is the leading health and wellness pop manufacturer in the region.

House of Pops is famous for its hand-crafted, plant-based, five-ingredient pops and bars, and its brightly coloured stores, kiosks, carts and pop-ups are hard to miss.

You can find House of Pops outlets in 17 iconic locations across Dubai, including Expo 2020, JBR, Dubai Eye, Kite Beach, City Walk and La Mer.

Gulfood takes place at Dubai World Trade Centre, from 13-17 February, 2022, bringing together 4000+ companies, 200+ speakers and 21 halls of awe-inspiring food exploration.

Company co-founder Marcela Sancho says: “We have grown so much since inception, and now it’s time to share our happy, healthy products with a global audience – right on our doorstep. As a proudly homegrown brand, this is very exciting, and we will be looking for franchisees, and exploring global business opportunities including private labelling, distribution deals and export arrangements.”

Having taking the local market by storm, the forward-looking, plant-based brand is looking for dynamic franchisees and distribution partners across the region and further afield.

The on-trend all-natural brand of ‘ice pops’ hopes its Gulfood presence will assist in its ambitious aim of rapidly expanding its empire.

Sancho adds: “House of Pops remains humble, yet we are now considered a premium brand, with a proven successful business model – we even sustained growth during the pandemic. Our healthy treat-packed freezers are now at more than 100 locations across the UAE, and we cater for leading hotel brands like Jumeirah Group, Hilton, Marriott, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton and Raffles.

“People – ourselves included – want fresher, healthier, natural and sustainable treats – and we’ve made sure all our products meet these desires. We’ve worked relentlessly to get our growing range into as many places as possible, from beaches to boardrooms. Now, we want to share our philosophy with an ever-widening group of like-minded entrepreneurial people. We believe the world has changed, and we are responding to that change.”

Frozen desserts represent a US$94 billion industry globally – a sector experiencing a skyrocketing shift towards healthier alternatives. As consumers begin to prioritise health and wellness, healthier, more sustainable food products are on a rapid upward sales trajectory.

House of Pops dessert treats are currently available via:

  • House of Pops owned and rented retail sites, direct to consumers (you’ll recognise the happy, bright colours of the House of Pops sites on JBR and Kite Beach, Dubai, for instance)
  • Food delivery aggregator apps and direct channels, such as Deliveroo, Talabat, the houseofpops.ae website and Instagram
  • Trade and HORECA – House of Pops sells its range to grocery stores, gyms, juice bars, leading hotels and cafes, for example, at more than 60 sites across the UAE
  • Events and outside catering, usually involve a promoter or a cart or bike
  • Schools – forward-thinking schools are happy to pass on the goodness of a House of Pops treat to hungry pupils

There are currently four different frozen product ranges on offer, with House of Pops actively engaging in continuous research and development to ensure the delicious pops stay relevant, healthy and bang-on-trend. House of Pops offers its pops with zero plastic packaging.

Serving up a growing variety of refreshing mostly fruit-based pops, the House of Pops range is free from artificial colours, flavourings and refined sugars, and rich in fibre. They are a fun, delicious way to get closer to your ‘Five A Day’ – and with a growing selection of exotic, tropical and favourite flavours in its Happiness, Keto, Choco-Dipped and Royal range, you’re spoilt for choice, too.

Nature on a stick

House of Pops’ fruit-forward ice pops are vegan and feature up to just five natural main ingredients. Its winning recipes are the secret behind its hand-crafted ice pops and ice creams.

The Happiness range features just five ingredients or less, and is essentially super tasty, super healthy frozen fruit on a stick.

House of Pop’s keto range is more akin to ice cream – but unlike any ice cream you’ve ever tasted before. Featuring organic coconut milk and cream, natural fruits and natural sweeteners, these guilt-free treats also feature vegetable fibre for extra health benefits. You can choose from Strawberry, Coffee, Vanilla or Chocolate flavours.

Royal Pops are larger ice cream-style bars, studded with real fruit pieces, making them the perfect healthy snack. The funky flavour catwalk includes indulgent Choco Banana, Mango Strawberry, Choco Strawberry and Coco Strawberry.

The newest addition to the range is indulgent-tasting chocolate-dipped pops, including Choco Orange, Choco Chocolate, Choco Coconut, Choco Passion and Choco Strawberry.

Good for people, good for the planet

With purity and people at the heart of its brand, House of Pops strives to be good for customers and the environment. It takes pride in offering plastic-free biodegradable packaging. The packaging can also be tailored for special occasions, making its allergen-free ice pops perfect for friends and family.

The 80ml varieties are AED 20, while the 123ml Royal Pops are AED 25.
