Former Roberto’s executive chef Alessandro Miceli and restaurant manager Stefano Bassanese are set for a quick return to the Dubai F&B game with the launch of Bella Restaurant and Lounge.
Set to open this month at the Grand Millennium Hotel Business Bay, Bella features a loft-like lounge with a private dining table, dining alcoves, DJ booth, and retro-lit amber bar, as well as a dining room and bar overlooking the Dubai skyline.
Unsurprisingly Miceli will be crafting Italian cuisine in the kitchen, but with a light Asian influence, while Bassanese will be working the floor, with hand-crafted cocktail and top class wines the order of the day.
Located on the 20th floor of the hotel, Bella also features a glass awning that is fully retractable, turning the venue from indoors to outdoors at the touch of a button and allowing for full views of Downtown and Burj Khalifa.
The venue is said to be named after its owner, a mysterious Italian socialite, and will be hoping to attract those looking for after-work drinks with a view or an intimate date night setting.
