Accreditation from Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) is a crucial step in Hyatt’s health and safety mission for the well-being of all stakeholders.

The GBAC accreditation is an add on to its ranks which will ensure comfort, safety, security and personal hygiene as a number one priority for its guests and colleagues. Under the supervision and review of GBAC, one of the departments of the (ISSA), the Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency Makkah Hotel has succeeded in implementing and applying the strictest cleaning, sterilization and infection prevention protocols. Composed of international leaders in the field of microbial-pathogenic threat analysis, mitigation, response, and recovery, the GBAC provides training, guidance, accreditation, certification, crisis management assistance, and leadership to government, commercial and private entities looking to mitigate, quickly address, and/or recover from biological threats and real-time crises.
